Hi fellow ski fanatics!
I grew up skiing but not a grown up when I'm on skis. Skiing makes me feel young, free, and a little wild. I grew up in the Green Mtns. of Vermont. I'm outdoorsy, funny, intelligent, kind, enthusiastic, and spontaneous. My grampa was Perry H.Merrill the Vt skiing pioneer and the Vt state commissioner of forests and parks for 40 years.You might have skied his trails at Stowe or Jay Peak.He encouraged me in my favorite sport and bought me my first pair of Fischer skis when I was six.
I now live in the flatlands but head to the mountains every chance I get, to hike, ski, snowshoe, or swim.
I'd like to find a man my age (58-62) that enjoys those same activities so we can share the fun and adventures together.
A date to meet, have coffee or drink of choice, get to know one another and see if there is a spark to nurture into a flame. If the spark isn't there no blood, no foul, It's nice enough to make some more friends or ski buddies.
I'm easy going and very comfortable with new people. If there is a gift to make strangers feel comfortable, I have it. A gift or a practice from being a preschool teacher for 26+ years.Lol
