I am a positive person who loves to ski, hike, camp, snowshoe and boat (both sail and motor). I have my health, my 2 smooth collies and a large veggie garden.
I consider myself to be an extrovert and have on more than one occasion cut my own path versus taking the ‘traveled’ road. To wit; my daughters were ski fanatics which eventually landed us in CO after several years of home schooling grade and middle school; long before it became oh so acceptable/popular.
I have experienced some challenging situations in my life, some positive and some negative... all have helped me determine what’s important in life, what I am grateful for, what is missing and where I want to concentrate my efforts. I have learned from the mistakes I made and rarely make the same mistake twice.
I have been taking care of myself for a long time and have worked hard to become well educated (Cornell grad), fit and financially secure; any potential partner should be somewhat similar. I am straight up and can be blunt, but never mean spirited.
Natural curiosity leads to stimulating conversations. That trait along with a healthy sense of humor is important as well as a love of the outdoors and active lifestyle. While opposites do attract, in order to build a strong relationship, it’s more important to share a lot of similarities. What’s important is finding the chemistry, friendship, respect and laughter with a man who has the potential to be my partner and vice versa. I want to adore and be adored in return. I do not need to be with someone 24/7 but want to be in someone's heart 24/7. He will stick with me and we will work together though the hard times, laugh together, respect me, cherish me, laugh at me, challenge me, and stand by me...just as I will for him. OK...so now that I have narrowed my percentage of matches down to about 1 in a billion...LOL. I am selective...not shallow and won’t respond to emails without pictures. Not using this site to occupy my free time, speed date or serial date; just looking for the perfect life partner ...
