Hey There,
Although I'm usually the one who likes to ask the questions, here is a mash-up answer to all the usual essay questions.
I am a pretty fit early 60's, outdoor enthusiast, well traveled, entrepreneur, who lives in CT. I'm a ski patroller in VT on weekends and lovelovelove to be on the mtn or water.
6 years into widowerhood, I still work, and like what I do but it is not what defines me.
I have been told I am compassionate, empathic, and "Wicked funny". Friends say I have a gift for keeping things in perspective and finding the positive spin in everyone and everything and as a 1st responder keep a cool head under pressure.
Skiing, being on the water, or hiking puts me in a state of bliss. I thrive on the challenges, the freedom, the connection to nature, and the comraderies that ensue.
I am an independent thinker who is actively interested in what is going on in the world but I don't wear it on my sleave.
Ideally I would like to meet a New Englander who can ski just about anything, enjoys skiing even in the east, dresses for the elements not the lodge, loves first tracks and maybe even last chair. Has a fun and creative sense of humor, a great laugh, and is grounded and relaxed.
Dancing in the living room or singing along in the car is highly encouraged as is taking in a sunset and view in total silence.
